“Without your involvement you can't succeed. With your involvement you can't fail.”
First things first, through your involvement and suggestions this year's show has been totally re-designed, enhanced and features a variety of new activities which we are promoting on a regular basis with the goal of bringing more attendees than ever to the show. These new show activities include: actual “live” production lines and demos; an outstanding educational line up; a virtual reality showcase; a HACCP certification course; a new revised “Innovations Showcase“; a first time PROCESS EXPO Executive Forum; the new Processor Spotlight Series; a 1st Timers Program; job board; “feeding the hopper” campfire sessions; scheduled meet-up sessions in the refresh and recharge areas; Chicago food sampling; on-floor networking receptions and much, much more.
Clearly, we have made great strides in improving our show, and now is the time that we most need your active participation and involvement. First and foremost we need for you to invite your customers to the show. I cannot stress to you how important this is to the success of PROCESS EXPO. Few attendees will go to any show simply because it is being put on by the show organizer. Rather they will attend because you invited them to come and visit you. And not only that you have invited them, but hundreds of other exhibitors invited them as well. It is this collective power, inviting customers and prospects that will bring thousands and thousands of quality attendees to Chicago. I urge you to use our free program by signing up here and begin promoting your presence before your customers go away on summer vacation. Hopefully, all exhibitors have recently received correspondence from our Show Chairman, Bill McPhail regarding how they can easily participate in this program for more information. If you have any questions about Exhibitor Invites or any of the other free tools we provide you to help make this year's show a success, please contact Gregory Dykstra at [email protected] or 703-663-1207.
Next, we need you actively involved in being prepared for the show. The best way you can do this is being involved by participation in our free Show Operations Conference that will be held June 8th-9th in Chicago. The conference will provide you with numerous opportunities to improve your PROCESS EXPO 17 experience. There will be presentations from officials of McCormick Place, Chicago Convention and Tourism, GES, and trade show experts, each providing you with a unique perspective on show operations, and attendees will be able to engage in multiple roundtable discussions and exchange ideas with your peers. PROCESS EXPO staff and show vendors will be on-hand to discuss your specific booth needs. Please click here for full program information and to register online. It's not too late to sign up!
And, were you able to attend our recent our recent webinar on “CORE”? This valuable webinar featured a wide array of tools that we provide all exhibitors to promote their presence and make the most of their participation in PROCESS EXPO. If you missed this webinar or would like to review or share it with a colleague, it is now available online. And be sure to mark your calendar for the next show webinar on Value Streams from FOG (Fats, Oils and Greases) in Industrial Wastewater being held on Tuesday, June 27 from 2-3 p.m. ET; to register for the webinar click here.
Lastly, one way to increase your visibility ahead of the show is through a sponsorship. PROCESS EXPO has online opportunities that will cater to any size campaign or budget. Remember that the sooner you secure your sponsorship, the sooner attendees will take notice. For more information on any other sponsorship contact Grace at [email protected] or 703-663- 1220.
One hundred and eleven days seems like a long way off but we know fall will be here all too soon. Thanks to your help and involvement we will have the show that our customers and exhibitors all want and desire!
