The above quote from such a distinguished entrepreneur does a great job expressing what all of us are striving to achieve regarding our upcoming show. Clearly, PROCESS EXPO will be the success that all of us want it to be if all of us continue to do our part and work together in unity. To achieve our mutual goal, we have developed and put in place a variety of programs that will enable that “success” to become a reality. I greatly encourage you to utilize the below tools, resources, and information to their fullest extent.

  • Exhibitor Invite Program . With PROCESS EXPO just over two months away your customers are finalizing their fall travel schedule. Now is the time to reach out to them and personally invite them to your booth at the You can invite as many of your customers to the show as you like, they will be attending for free, and you don’t have to share your confidential contact list with anyone. Our VIP Guest Invites Program is extremely easy-to-use and customer friendly. We all know that the number one reason that attendees come to the show is because they receive an invite from you. Our show promotional efforts will continue right up to the start of the show, but it’s everyone’s job to do their part and by all of us working together we will not only realize but exceed our show attendee goals.   • On-line Educational Programs/Sessions. Tools to help exhibitors to have a successful show are critical, therefore the PROCESS EXPO Exhibitor Success Program has been created to assist and address your trade show needs. These 24/7 exhibiting resources include: schedule/planning tools, white papers, and webinars. In particular, we encourage you to sign up and participate in our upcoming webinars that start this month on the topics of Secrets of the Aisles: Critical Interaction Skills Every Booth Staffer Needs to Know and Inside Your Exhibiting Numbers: Easy to Apply Metrics for Measuring Exhibiting Performance, Value, and ROI. And, we will even be adding a very informative additional educational session where you will hear directly from one of our exhibitors who will share insights on how his company was able to utilize PROCESS EXPO to increase not only the volume but also the quality of leads at the show – a webinar you will surely not want to miss.   • Show Education Program. This year’s PROCESS EXPO University program promises to be our most popular ever and more importantly, a major reason for your customers to come to the show. Alternative proteins, Trends in the Pet Food Industry, IIOT, the Legal Cannabis Market, Rebranding from Small/Mid-Size Meat Processors, Food Safety and Packaging are just some of the areas that will be covered in this program, providing attendees with the latest information on a number of critical topics. More importantly, this program will take place right on the show floor with quick, easy access to your exhibits.

  • DEFEAT HUNGER. In conjunction with our show, the Foundation of the Association is once again hosting our DEFEAT HUNGER food drive at PROCESS EXPO to support the Greater Chicago Food Depository (GCFD). The DEFEAT HUNGER Campaign is part of our Giving Back initiative where all donations and proceeds go to the GCFD to help fight hunger in the greater Chicago area. Every $1 donated to DEFEAT HUNGER provides 3 meals for families in With your generous support, the DEFEAT HUNGER campaign is currently at the top of Virtual Food Drives List for the Greater Chicago Food Depository. Lastly, I wanted to also wanted to inform you of two activities that will be taking place this month. A webinar entitled “Medical and Recreational Marijuana: Strategies to Keep Up With Rapidly-Changing Laws” will be held starting at 2pm ET on August 28th hosted by our legal counsel. As these rapidly passing laws raise legal and practical issues for employers, I would greatly encourage having the appropriate persons in your company participate in the webinar.

And, we will also be launching the first of our quarterly Network Connections newsletter which showcase the activities and projects of our five networks.
