Our 2018 Annual Conference recently concluded at the beautiful Loews Ventana Canyon Resort in Tucson, AZ. The survey results from the conference revealed that this year's conference was our highest rated event in many years. A record number of sponsors provided their support and we surpassed previous conferences with our largest number of “first-timers.” Attendees evaluated our keynote and breakout speakers as “outstanding.” In addition to the enhanced networking activities, a new Board of Directors was elected by the membership. Also at the Annual Conference, a new “Sales Contract Resource Guide“ was unveiled. This useful document is FREE to members. Click on the link to download your copy. Please stay tuned. In the near future we will be holding a webinar to go into further depth on the guide.
So what's next on the Association's agenda? First up is a call for volunteers to secure and provide FPSA with your expertise and input through your involvement to serve the industry as we will be seeking individuals for the following groups: 1) Show Committee; 2) Membership Committee; and 3) Exhibitor Subcommittee. Second, our Career Development Scholarship program, where our Foundation awards 15 five thousand dollar scholarships to full time employees of FPSA member companies as well as their immediate family members is still seeking applications. Please note that all submissions must be completed by April 9th. More detailed information can be obtained by visiting the FPSA website at www.fpsa.org/giving-back/.
Third, details are being finalized for our next event, the Fall Sales Conference taking place at the Sheraton Chicago O'Hare Airport Hotel, September 17-19th. This conference will be entirely devoted to best practices in the modern sales environment with special emphasis tailored to those most involved in your business development process.
