As we start this new year, I can’t help but be excited as we move forward into what we all hope will be a new, more stable normal. With vaccines now being administered, there is hope that we are starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel, even if we still have some tough weeks and months to get there.

In talks with members, there is palpable anticipation that we will get back to business as usual this year which for many of us means, coming face to face with our customers and prospects.

If current trends continue, this October’s PROCESS EXPO looks to be the food industry’s first face to face trade exhibition since events started shutting down last March. That’s a year and a half of pent up demand! But that’s not the only reason to get excited about this year’s show.

Our joint venture partnership with Messe Frankfurt takes PROCESS EXPO to a completely different level. With offices in over 30 countries, Messe Frankfurt is promoting the show to an entirely new audience. That will deliver new exhibits, new technologies, and new opportunities, as well as new leads to the show floor. This is our first step in making PROCESS EXPO the must-attend event that we all know it can be. By adding even more manufacturing solutions to what attendees will find during their visit, we give them more reason to come and spend their valuable time.

As I sit in my office and look out the window at a dreary, cold January rain, that’s what I think about. There’s lots of new business coming for all of us this year, and that light at the end of the tunnels keeps getting a little brighter.
