“The Women’s Alliance is proud to bring back the Red Circle Honors after a hugely successful inaugural round of awards in 2019,” said Kate Rome, Chair of FPSA’s Women’s Alliance Network and President of Rome Grinding Solutions. “This award was created to recognize the tremendous work that women are engaging in and highlight the strong impact they have in today’s food and beverage industry. With each year, we are witnessing the arrival of more women into this industry which serves to not just grow the workforce, but also transform it with added diversity, creativity, and resolve. We look forward to recognizing these star colleagues for many years to come.”
“The Women’s Alliance Network once again has set the bar for all other FPSA Networks to emulate,” said David Seckman, President & CEO of the Food Processing Suppliers Association (FPSA). “Whether it be the Red Circle Honors, the Mentor Circle Program or their networking meetups at industry events, the Women’s Alliance has done an excellent job to provide resources to support women so they can be even more successful in their careers. The Red Circle Honors is the perfect example of this. The concept for these awards was developed by and will be promoted and judged by WAN members. This type of recognition is critical to supporting the professional development efforts all of our members are engaged in.”
