Meat Industry Suppliers Alliance (MISA)
MISA offers its members an opportunity to project a common and uniform stance on important industry issues, particulary in the regulatory and machinery safety and hygenic standards area. An important part of MISA's mission is to keep you up-to-date on what's going on in the meat industry and how to prepare for changes and new opportunities. MISA does this by providing the following:
Networking opportunities such as at the FPSA Conference, where MISA decides the topics for several sessions.
The MISA Operations Conference is directed toward your personnel who need to be aware of issues that affect them, particularly in the areas of regulatory and machinery safety standards, inspection and machinery design.
MISA sponsors one-day conferences, focused on specific topics of interest at the request of members.
An annual compensation survey will keep you up-to-date on where companies like yours are positioned in the industry. The survey, covering sales, service, engineering and production positions as well as general policies and benefits, provide a valuable tool for your management team.
Sponsorship of the MISA Foundation, supporting tomorrow's leaders in our industry.
All FPSA Member companies are eligible to participate in the FPSA MISA Council as an exclusive member benefit. For more information, contact Rebecca Herman at rherman@fpsa.org.
