U.S. Poultry & Egg Contributes to FPSA's Scholarship Fund
McLean, VA – The U.S. Poultry & Egg Association, (IPE) represented by John E. Starkey, President, and Charles Olentine, Executive Vice-President of the International Poultry Expo, were in attendance to present a $5,000 check to Scott Scriven, Chairman of the Food Processing Suppliers Association (FPSA) and Jan Erik Kuhlmann, Chairman of the Food Processing Suppliers Association’s Foundation on Monday, July 19th at the Association’s recent 3-day trade show, PROCESS EXPO 2010, in Chicago. The check was a contribution to the Association’s Meat Industry Supplier’s Alliance (MISA) Foundation Scholarship Fund.
“Our association shares the common goal of bringing more talented student scientists and leaders to our common industry,” said John Starkey. “It is with great pleasure that the association accepts IPE’s very generous contribution,” acknowledged Scott Scriven. Jan Kuhlmann stated, “This financial support will be given to students who are pursuing careers in our joint industry.”
