Elena is a Chemical Engineer graduated from Carabobo University in Valencia, Venezuela with more than 25 years of experience in the Food Industry.

Elena has been with Kraft for 18 years. The first ten years, Elena worked in KFLA at the Valencia Plant. Elena had the responsibility for managing production/sanitation areas in several processes such as: processed cheese, mayonnaise, powder soft drink, margarine and caramels.

In 2001 Elena moved to the US to work at the Oscar Mayer Newberry plant in SC. Elena held positions in Further Processing, RTE and Sanitation Manager.

In Dec 2005, Elena joined the Corporate Sanitation Team as LA Sanitation Manager to support Latin America Region, also with responsibilities in Sanitary Design.

Previous Kraft, Elena worked in a Venezuelan dairy/juices facility also with responsibilities in Production and Sanitation.  During this time, Elena also had a part time job in the Carabobo University as an Inorganic Chemistry teacher.
